Grams' Visit!

Grams arrived on Mike's Birthday!
Grams and I went out to Tagish on our own. We walked along the beach, did work around the property, and played a few games of Scrabble, of course!
She also came with me to explore the Tagish Cemetery, which I so appreciated. Last summer, after suggesting it a few times, nobody else seemed interested. Grams, however, thought it was a fine idea. I'm glad we went. It is very unique! (My favourite tombstone = "Gone Fishing"!)
Back in Whitehorse, hangin' out on the little brown deck
Grams and I played quite a few games of crib.
Mike shared laughs with us!
Love hearing Grams' laugh!!!
Grams and I went back out to Tagish, picked some of the rhubarb, brought it back home, and she made us some of her fresh rhubarb-citrus juice. YUM!
Grams, Judy, Mike and I went out for dinner to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the first trip Grams and I made to the Yukon!
I had the salmon!
Mike ordered the steak and baked potato!
We chose to eat at the Capital Hotel because Grams and I stayed there for a night 30 years ago, before heading to Dawson! This place sure has changed throughout the years.
Mike outside the Capital's restaurant now called the Cork & Bull.
Grams would also come with Deja and I to watch Mike kayak on the spin wave.
Grams would take care of Deja while I took kayaking photos. Grams visit went by too quickly, and I was sad to see her go, but we definitely had a wonderful time together! Already looking forward to our next visit...
