A January game in the F. H. gym (Emily making a foul shot. Jay facing us.)
February 15th game: P.C. hosting F. H.  Go Warriors Go!!!

Mike on the P.C. bleachers
Chummin' around with Freddie the Warrior during the Basketball Championships at F. H.   The Warriors won this game against Vanier, which created a three-way tie. They used a tie-breaking procedure (points against, not point differential) to determine that F.H. was out of the championships, which was devastating for the Warriors Senior Girls. However, later it was discovered that an incorrect score had been used, and the following day it was determined that the Vanier Crusaders were out (This time devastating for the Vanier girls.), and F.H was back in the championships. Wow, a little too much drama and emotion for high school basketball. I simply hope that all three teams realize how well they played throughout the season, and that, no matter the decision, they were all deserving of playing in the gold medal game!
The final gold medal game: Warriors vs Rams  Jay is covering Daria while Mike and I watch from (much less crowded) bleachers.  This was an edge of our seats game throughout with a final score of 61 - 60 for the P.C. Senior girls. It was a difficult loss for the Warriors, but they played amazingly well! This was definitely Jay's best game of the season!!!

After receiving their silver medals, Jay was named ALL STAR (alongside Quynh who was named MVP), which was so deserved! Jaylene was definitely impressive!!!! Congratulations Warriors!

Thanks Mike and Chels for these great pics of Jay's games. Jay, you are an all-star! I'm so impressed by you. You put your heart and soul into everything you do. I know you'll go on to acheive great things if you'll put all you've got into it. Good stuff!
