At the Tagish Property for Discovery Days Weekend...

First job: Removing the fridge that conked out, taking it to the dump, and replacing it with this fridge from the front porch. Refrigerators are heavy! However, Mike and his four women (of four generations) managed to push, pull, lift, carry and move both!
Jaylene's pretty tough!
Cooking dinner after our work was done
Jay changed into her "warm cabin clothes"!
For the majority of the following day, we worked outside, while the dogs lounged around.
Irene
This is me doing a little beetle dance:P (I'm sure Mike enjoyed taking these pictures!)
Trying to figure out where the little bugger went.
Judy came to the rescue...
...and made sure the beetle had truly flown away.
Jay taking a little break with Layla
Time to arm myself
Jay stirring up her cauldron
Over a few different visits, we tidied up this area of the property.
Putting away some of the gear after clearing and fire-smarting
Jay
Deja, still content
The lilies Irene planted...
...bloomed beautifully and brilliantly!
Workin' away while Mike snapped photos
Deja alert, but relaxed
This is the mini-garden that Irene and Judy planted in the raised garden bed .
Mike trying to get a gas weed wacker to work...
Jay jumped in to give it a shot!
Judy, Irene and I weeded this area of gardening soil.
Jay on the quad
Irene taking a little break from weeding
Judy having a wheel-barrel of fun
Mike
A radish poking through the soil
Surprised at how well the garden survived
Jay took her grandma on a quad adventure!
