A Day on the Yukon River!

This summer we traded our Bronco for a boat, but, with everything going on, we didn't even have time to take it for a spin.
One of the first things we did after returning to Whitehorse was drive the boat into Schwatka Lake and jump in!
The four of us and Deja in the boat - Chelsea has the camera.
A float plane landing not far from us
Heading into Miles Canyon
The Miles Canyon bridge up ahead
Having the time of my life
Josh gets a chance to drive
Jay doesn't seem concerned about this.
We spotted an animal swimming across the river.  From a distance, we thought it was a beaver.  But, to our surprise, once we were up close, we realized it was a lynx!
A rare moment!
Good-bye lynx and good luck!
This didn't even phase Deja.
Jay's turn to drive
We stopped in a little bay for lunch.
We made it all the way down to the Yukon River bridge, turned around and returned to the dock on Schwatka Lake.
Josh helped me load the boat onto the trailer.
A great way to spend the day!
